After many years, Palmyra Middle School Drama Department is back on stage as they perform Rainbow Fish the Musical on Saturday, March 8th at 7 pm in the middle school gymnasium.
Under the direction of Tracy Fountain and Larry Seago, Rainbow Fish the Musical tells the story of a brightly colored fish, the Rainbow Fish, who is admired by all the other sea creatures due to her dazzling, multi-colored scales, but becomes isolated when she refuses to share them, ultimately learning from a wise Octopus that true friendship and happiness come from kindness and sharing, rather than just outward beauty. It is based on the popular children’s book by Marcus Pfister.
The cast includes 8th graders Aubree Dimaggio and Allyson Kirby; 7th graders Callie Harper, Brielle Strubinger, and Addilynn Kaden; 6th graders Gavin Courtney, Kellin Snow, and Simone Riedle; 5th graders Elsie Rhine, Avery Campbell, Emmalynn Jones, Brinleigh Carper, Tyne Lehenbauer, Kallee Baker, Allie Crane, and Molly Hudson.
No reservations are required and admission is free-will donation, with all proceeds going to the drama department to help support the program.
