MARK TWAIN LAKE, Mo. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Paris Lions Club have announced the Annual Turkey Hunt for disabled individuals, scheduled for Saturday, May 3, and Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the Indian Creek Recreation Area during the 2025 Missouri Spring Turkey season.
This special hunt is open to permanently disabled individuals (both non-ambulatory and semi-ambulatory) who hold a valid 2025 Missouri spring turkey tag and a hunter safety certification card. All participants must comply with Missouri Department of Conservation regulations, including the requirement to remain in the blind while in the field. A special permit is required for crossbow use.
To participate, applications must be submitted by Monday, March 31, 2025. A random drawing to select hunters will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 8 a.m. at the Mark Twain Lake Project Office.
