Back in May, Palmyra FFA planted 9 rows of sweet corn in the FFA Plot at Palmyra High School. After months of planning and cultivation, harvest time has finally arrived. At the beginning of August, six FFA members, along with advisors Amanda Haeberlin and Luke Mahsman, spent their evening picking, husking, and sorting the sweet corn. In total, the chapter gathered approximately 70 dozen ears of tasty corn, which were forwarded to the Palmyra Food Pantry toassist families in need. Palmyra FFA extends immense gratitude to the generous donors and volunteers who made this act of service possible.
