The Marion County Endowment Fund Council proudly celebrated the 2025 Marion County recipients of the Community Foundation’s Community Grant program. During the celebration, the council and local nonprofits highlighted the power of philanthropy and local giving. These grants, made possible in part by the Marion County Endowment Fund, supports organizations working to strengthen the community.
This year’s grant recipients include:
CHART Teen Task Force — Sexuality Education in Northeast Missouri Schools
Douglass Community Services — Kids in Motion 2026 Program
Embrace Children and Families — General Support of Embrace Children & Families
Hannibal Arts Council — General support of Hannibal Arts Council
Harvest Outreach Ministries — General Support of Harvest Outreach Ministries
“We are grateful to the donors who continue to help grow the Marion County Endowment Fund and are pleased to be able to award grants to five deserving Marion County charitable organizations this year,” said Marilyn Hall, Marion County Fund Council Chair.
As a permanent charitable fund, the Marion County Endowment Fund exists solely to support local nonprofit organizations, focusing on children, families, and community betterment. Since 2015, the fund has awarded over $37,506.94 in grants to 28 nonprofits, making a difference in the lives of Marion County residents. Led by a local advisory council, the fund provides annual grants in the areas of arts & education, health & human services, and community betterment, ensuring lasting impact through sustainable philanthropy.
