On September 10th, seventeen members of the Palmyra FFA Chapter attended an unforgettable evening of networking, teamwork exercises, and personal development at the Area V Leadership Conference held in Bowling Green, Missouri.
Clad in blue corduroy jackets, Palmyra’s attendees were excited to connect with surrounding FFA chapters at the event organized by the Area V officer team. Upon arrival, each attendee was separated into groups, encouraging members to branch out and mingle with new people. The night began with an inspiring keynote speech from State Vice President, Sophie Geppert.
Following the address, the individual groups worked through hands-on stations that emphasized collaboration and development. Some notable activities include: a Q&A panel with FFA leaders and alumni, a fast paced networking circle, and even a blindfold obstacle course.
Though the experience was initially intimidating for some, Palmyra FFA returned with glowing reviews, sharing stories of fun and friendship. The Palmyra FFA Chapter sincerely thanks the Area V officer team, neighboring FFA chapters, and guest speakers who made Area V Leadership Conference a memorable and meaningful experience.
