On September 30, 2025, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office received reports of an individual making threats against local businesses through a social media platform.
Deputies responded by attempting to make contact with the individual at their residence. Before law enforcement arrived, the suspect left the property on a utility terrain vehicle (UTV), evading officers on nearby family-owned land.
