Palmyra School Foundation Provides Grants to 12 District Educators
Palmyra, MO — [November 10, 2025] — The Palmyra School Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of its Teacher Innovation Grants, awarded quarterly to support creative classroom projects that enhance learning opportunities for students across the Palmyra School District.
Each quarter, the Foundation provides funding to teachers who bring innovative ideas, hands-on learning, and enrichment experiences into their classrooms. Through an application process, selected grants allow educators to implement programs and projects that go beyond the traditional curriculum, directly benefiting students and strengthening the district’s learning community.
This year’s recipients include:
Elementary School
-Michelle Harris, Pre-K: Tonie box audio player
-Kelsey Myers, 4th grade: Flexible seating
-Evan Hultz, Special Education: Flexible seating
-Brette Orr, Art: Fabric & fibers art supplies
-Lex Meyers, STEAM: Add snap circuits sets
-Kayla Anderson, Speech: Sensory busy bins for elementary & middle school
-Jessica Gottman, Asst. Principal: noise-cancelling headphones for elementary school
Middle School
-Ali Paulsen: Language Arts: Books for reading series
-Destiny Kizer: Language Arts: classroom set of books to focus on refugee experiences
High School
-Tim Wellman, Business: Hypsometer for forestry, conservation & biology
-Aron Knoche, FACS: Virtual Reality for Family & Consumer Science
-Sean Frankenbach: drone for yearbook & multimedia classes
