Palmyra High School Drama Club to Present “Fast Food” Comedy March 6-7
PALMYRA, Mo. — The Palmyra High School Drama Club will dish up a serving of comedy and chaos next week with its production of Fast Food by Tracy Wells.
The one-act play offers a fast-paced and humorous look at life behind the counter of “Burgers R Us,” where overworked and underpaid employees juggle demanding customers, strict uniforms and the looming presence of their manager. The show highlights both the frustrations and friendships that come with first jobs in the food service industry.
“This show is perfect for our students,” said Aron Knoche, drama club sponsor. “It’s funny, it’s fast-moving, and it allows our cast to really connect with the audience through characters and situations we’ve all experienced — whether as a customer or an employee.”
Performances are scheduled for Friday, March 6, at 6 p.m. and Saturday, March 7, at 2 p.m. in the Palmyra Middle School auditorium.
Advance tickets are $8 and may be purchased online at zeffy.com under “Drama Club Fast Food.” Tickets will also be available at the door for $10.
Community members are encouraged to attend and support the student actors, stage crew and director as they bring this high-energy comedy to the stage
