Palmyra Prosperity Fund 2026 Applications Open
The Palmyra Chamber of Commerce invites qualified nonprofits to apply for a Palmyra Prosperity Fund Grant. Applications must be submitted directly through the Community Foundation grants portal. The 2026 application period opened March 1 and closes May 1.
Grant distribution will take place in August. The fund is donor advised, meaning the Chamber will recommend grant recipients, working with the Community Foundation to maximize funding sources.
Eligible applicants include:
Nonprofit organizations that are recognized as exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code.
Government entities applying for grants that are exclusively for public or charitable purposes.
Faith-based organizations applying for grants that benefit the public good, but not for specifically religious or sectarian purposes, or programs that require participation in a religious activity as a condition for receiving services.

The Palmyra Prosperity Fund is a permanent, philanthropic tool that allows the Palmyra Chamber of Commerce to extend and expand programming for local nonprofits and charitable projects.
As an endowed fund, it will provide a permanent source of support for community
betterment. The Fund is part of the Community Foundation serving West Central Illinois & Northeast Missouri, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, meaning it offers donors who wish to invest in Palmyra’s future maximum tax deductibility when they contribute to the fund.
