Roadwork Planned in Northeast Missouri March 23–April 3
HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced upcoming highway maintenance work scheduled across northeast Missouri from March 23 through April 3.
Motorists should be aware of temporary closures and are encouraged to plan alternate routes while crews complete maintenance operations.
All road closures and planned work can be viewed on MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.
Transportation officials noted that inclement weather may impact the schedule, and additional moving operations could take place throughout the region. Drivers are reminded to use caution in work zones by buckling up, putting phones down, slowing down and moving over for roadside crews.
Marion County
The following closure is scheduled for culvert replacement operations:
- Missouri Route 168 — April 1: Closed from Route C to Breckenridge Avenue in Palmyra between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m
Drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time and remain alert while traveling through work zones
