Mission Hill Baptist Calls Pastor

Mission Hill Baptist Church new Pastor, Joshua Parson, and his wife, Nikki, and daughters, Joshlyn, Janae, and Jaelle.

Mission Hill Baptist Church, 4653 Business Hwy 61 just south of Palmyra has called Joshua Parson to be the new Pastor. He will be relieving Interim Pastor Gary Loomis who has served for the past two years.
Bro. Parson graduated from NorthSide Christian School in Louisville, Kentucky and received a Bachelor of Science in Bible from Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 2003.
He has served in churches in Tennessee, West Virginia, and Virginia, before coming to Palmyra in 2010 to be the Youth Pastor at Mission Hill. He returned to Calvary Baptist Chapel in North Tazewell, Virginia in 2021, where he has been Senior Pastor there for the last five years.
He is married to the former Nikki Shadrick, Financial Clearance Specialist at the Blessing Hannibal Clinic. Daughter Joshlyn is a freshman at Pensacola Christian College, Janae and Jaelle will be students at Mission Hill Christian Academy.
Pastor Parson’s first Sunday at Mission Hill will be March 22nd, with a carry-in dinner following the service. Everyone is invited to Sunday School at 9:30, Worship Service at 10:30, and dinner following.
