Tractor Drive to Benefit Honor Flight

PALMYRA — The North River Old Iron Club will host a tractor-drive fundraiser Saturday, June 13, to benefit Great River Honor Flight.
The drive will leave the Palmyra Fairgrounds at 9 a.m. and follow an
approximately 40-mile, all-blacktop route through the countryside. A lunch
stop is planned at the halfway point, with tractors expected to return to the
fairgrounds between 3 and 4 p.m.
All profits will be donated to Great River Honor Flight, which helps veterans visit memorials honoring their military service.
The cost is $35 per tractor. Tractors must be able to travel at least 10 mph, display a U.S. flag and have a slow-moving-vehicle sign on the rear. Drivers must be at least 16 and have a valid driver’s license.
Only one person is allowed on open-station tractors, and wagons or trailers are not permitted.
