The Palmyra Chamber of Commerce will award two $1000 scholarships at this year’s Palmyra R-1 High School Awards Ceremony, May 13. One will be given to a senior who is college/university bound and another to a senior who plans to attend a technical school program. a
Each scholarship has a separate application, tailored to a student’s chosen path. Both applications are available to students through Angela Keppner, Palmyra High School Counselor. They can also be found on the Palmyra Chamber website, showmepalmyra.com. The deadline to apply is April 11, 2025.
The Vo-Tech scholarship was added in 2017. We cannot live our everyday lives without the support of individuals trained in these fields. Technical school graduates are a very important part of our local economy, as they bring hands on expertise back to our community.
