Foundation Wednesdays provide an opportunity for Palmyra R-1 supporters to connect, enjoy meals from local restaurants, and give back to the Palmyra School Foundation.
Participating restaurants donate a portion of their event-day sales to the Foundation, which support classroom grants across the district.
New in 2026, locally owned businesses will provide matching gifts for each dining day, further increasing the impact of community participation.
The Foundation is dedicated to generating funds that enrich education for all Palmyra Panthers by enhancing teaching, inspiring learning, and expanding
opportunities.
“Foundation Wednesdays is a great reminder of what makes Palmyra special—people showing up for one another,” said Jason Harper, Palmyra R1 Superintendent. “When our community supports local businesses and our schools at the same time, the impact reaches far beyond a single evening.”
Tav Brown, Foundation President and local owner of Brown’s Furniture added, “Every meal shared during Foundation Wednesdays directly supports opportunities for our students and teachers; with the addition of matching sponsors this year, the impact of each visit will go even further.”
