The Palmyra Spectator’s tree took first place in the decorating contest sponsored by the Palmyra Parks & Recreation Department. The Spectator received a trophy and bragging rights until next year after receiving the most votes. Pictured are, (from left), Spectator employees, Patty Cheffey, Bridget Hudson and Jenny Ryals. The Grinch-themed tree and the trees will remain decorated throughout the Christmas season. Winning second place in the park department’s decorating contest was Brandy Huber, BCreative (center), and third place went to Heather Rice, Betty Joes (right).
