Georgia Elizabeth Ellen Fletcher Logan, 91, Taylor, Mo., passed away at 6:01 a.m., Sunday, March 13, 2022, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, Mo. with family by her side.

Georgia was born Aug. 29, 1930, in Peoria, Ill., to George and Elizabeth (Hartseil) Fletcher. She was married to William “Forrest” Logan on June 11, 1955, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Bartonville, Ill. He preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 2020.
Survivors include her three children, Julie Ward (Rick Younger), Lawrence, Kan.; Susan (Kent) Coleman, Palmyra, Mo.; and Larry (Marilyn) Logan, Taylor; seven grandchildren, Cara (David) Budde, Ryan (Angie) Ward, Michael (Stephanie) Ward, Dustin Ward, Travis Coleman, Heather (David) Mitchell, and Shannon (Julie) Huber.
Georgia was also blessed with 16 great-grandchildren, Austin Brown, Tristan Ward, Drake Ward, Kaylee Vasel, Bradie Ward, Rylan Wright, Kenley Vasel, Cale Ward, Karsyn Ward, Berkley Ward, Logan Ward, Hannah Mitchell, Arizona Mitchell, Preslee Mitchell, Noah Huber and Benjamin Huber.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two great-granddaughters, Reagan and Abigail Ward.
Georgia was a loving wife, mother and homemaker, spending her life dedicated to her family. She had a beautiful voice and used her talents for her church.
She also enjoyed attending Palmyra football, basketball, and baseball games, especially the sporting events her children and grandchildren were involved in. Another favorite past-time was playing “King on the Corner” a card game enjoyed by the family.
She was an avid member of the 18-Wheeler coffee drinkers club. She loved working in her flower gardens, feeding the hummingbirds and swimming at the YMCA.
Georgia served as church secretary for both Palmyra United Methodist Church and Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church for many years.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 17, at 11:30 a.m., at the Mt. Olivet Church of Taylor, Mo. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Palmyra.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Ward, Michael Ward, Dustin Ward, Travis Coleman, Austin Brown, Shannon Huber and David Budde.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dean Powers, Maurice Stoner, Dale Smith, Dennis Martin, Ronald Kolthoff, Glen Griesebaum, Sonny Powers and Dennis Waters.
Friends and family are invited to Georgia’s life celebration and visitation that will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the church..
Memorials may be made to the Mt. Olivet Church at Taylor, Mo.
