Five PHS girls are vying for the title of Tony Lenzini Tournament queen.
The five, one of whom will be crowned during ceremonies during the tournament Tuesday, Jan. 17 are senior, Abbey Redd, juniors Ashley Bode and Taytum White, and sophomores Sydney Compton and Clare Williams.

The crowning ceremony will occur during halftime of the 7:30 p.m. game between the Hannibal and Clark County girls teams.
Redd, the daughter of Darin and Kindsey Redd, is a four year member of the varsity softball, basketball and track teams.
She is also an active member in Key Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, FCCLA, and National Honor Society.
Redd attends Mt. Olivet Free Methodist Church of Taylor and the Palmyra United Methodist Church youth group.
She enjoys competing in multiple sports throughout the whole year and spending time with friends and family.
Redd plans on attending Washburn University in Topeka, Kan., to pursue a degree in pre-medicine.
Her escort, Bronson Juette, is the senior son of David and Brenda Juette.
He is a member of National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the varsity basketball team.
He is a member of the Palmyra United Methodist Church and is active in their youth group.
Juette plans to attend the University of Missouri-Columbia, for a degree in computer science.
He is also very good at baking coffee cake.
Bode, the junior daughter of Lyndon and Rachel Bode, and sister to Kaitlyn, is a three-year member of the Lady Panther varsity basketball, tennis, and track teams.
She is president of the Future Business Leaders of America, vice president of the Junior class, a leader of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and a member of National Honor Society, Key Club, Student Council and FCCLA.
Bode attends New Hope Gospel Church of Hannibal.
She enjoys spending time with her family, dogs, team and friends.
Her escort, Jeremiah Edwards, is the junior son of Andrew and Tammy Edwards.
He participates in varsity football, basketball and golf.
He is also an active member of the Palmyra FFA Chapter.
He is a member of the Palmyra United Methodist Church.
In his free time Edwards enjoys being with close friends and playing footgolf with his brother.
White, the daughter of the late Jamar and Michelle White, is a three year member of the Palmyra Lady Panther varsity basketball squad and is also a part of the tennis and track teams.
She is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Key Club, FCCLA and National Honor Society.
White attends Zion Lutheran Church of Palmyra.
She enjoys being around her family, friends and the Pantherball family.
Her escort, Luke Sheppard, is the freshman son of Justin and Cori Sheppard.
He is a member of the Palmyra football, basketball and track teams.
Sheppard is a member and leader for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
He loves to be around friends and family, and is extremely excited to be a part of this era of Pantherball.
Compton, the daughter of Tim and Abby Compton, is a two-year member of the Palmyra Lady Panther varsity basketball and track teams.
She is an active member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Key Club, FCCLA and Student Council.
She also attends First Christian Church in Palmyra.
Compton loves being around family, friends and her Pantherball family.
Her escort will be Ethan Redd, the senior son of Seth and Jill Redd.
Redd is a member of the Palmyra Panther varsity football and varsity basketball teams, and will be joining the track team this year.
He is an active member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He also attends Zion Lutheran Church of Palmyra.
After high school, Redd plans on attending the Missouri Welding Institute.
He enjoys being around family, friends and being a part of his Pantherball family.
Williams, the sophomore daughter of Tony and Kristen Williams, is a two-year member of the Palmyra Lady Panthers varsity basketball team.
She is also active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Palmyra FFA Chapter.
She attends Providence Baptist Church of Hannibal.
During her free time, she enjoys playing basketball for Missouri Phenom, showing goats, hanging with family and friends, but especially spending time with her teammates.
She will be escorted by her younger brother, Noah, the freshman son of Tony and Kristen Williams.
Williams is a member of the Palmyra Panthers basketball and baseball team.
He is also active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Palmyra FFA Chapter.
He attends Providence Baptist Church of Hannibal.
Williams enjoys spending time with family, friends and showing goats.
Attending the court are flower girl, Ivy Lovelace, and crown bearer, Jax Fuqua.
Lovelace, the eight-year-old daughter of Jake and Amy Lovelace, has one brother, Parker LaFoe, and two sisters, Gracie LaFoe and Ripley Lovelace.
She is a second grader at Palmyra Elementary School, and her teacher is Amy Hoerr.
Lovelace enjoys going on adventures with her family, tumbling at Tri-City Quest, watching how-to videos on YouTube, and playing with slime in her spare time.
She loves playing in the snow during winter, but her favorite activity is swimming at her aunt’s house in Ohio during the summer.
She has one cat named Binx.
Fuqua, the seven-year-old son of Brian and Katy Fuqua, attends Palmyra Elementary School and is in second grade.
His hobbies include playing Pokémon and building Legos. He enjoys swimming and gaga ball.
Fuqua is a member of Cub Scout Troop 161 and First Baptist Church, Palmyra.
