Elsie Jane Cates, 92, Winterset, Iowa, formerly from Palmyra, Mo., died Feb. 24, 2023, at Spurgeon Manor, in Dallas Center, Iowa.

Friends and family are invited to Elsie’s life celebration at a visitation that will be held from 12:30 to 2 p.m., Friday, March 3, at Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra, Mo.

 A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., Friday, March 3, at the chapel. Pastor Paul Reese will officiate. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Palmyra. 

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Spurgeon Manor in Dallas Center, Iowa.
