Linda  Steffen

Linda was born Jan. 22, 1951, in Hannibal, Mo., to Leland and Dixie Tuggle Miller. She was married to Ronald Robert Steffen Oct. 21, 1972, at Shelbyville Christian Church in Shelbyville, Mo. He preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 2022.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald Steffen; brother, David Miller, and niece, Lea Porter.

Professionally Linda was a 1970 graduate of Quincy Beauty Academy and chose to use her talents as a hair stylist. She was the proud owner and operator of the Breckenridge Beauty Salon, the place where her light shone so bright, taking care of and sharing a friendly smile and fun chat with all who graced her chair.

Linda was fond of and took great pleasure in reading a good book; she could read just about anything. She enjoyed the many trips her family shared over the years.

Linda was a positive, upbeat person who loved and cherished her family, friends and church. Although she faced many health challenges over the years, she never complained, instead taking each day as they came and focusing on the good in life.

A loving grandmother, she looked forward to time spent with her granddaughters. She loved nature, especially watching the hummingbirds in her yard this time of year.

Linda was a blessing to the community of Palmyra, a special sweet and caring lady who will be missed by many in our community.

Linda was a member of Quincy Church of Christ.
