Local youth, Alden Meyer competed at this year’s 4-H Shooting Sports national competition.

The 2025 Missouri 4-H Air pistol team consisted of Qwentin Kallenbach – Miller County, Alden Meyer – Marion County, Mackenzie Moyer – Randolph County, Christina Zimmer – Clay County. The team was coached by Bob McCollum of Linn County.

The air pistol team had 21 states consisting of 76 kids competing. These kids competed in rapid fire, silhouettes and slow fire.

Team Missouri placed 6th rapid fire, 6th silhouettes, 3rd slow fire(medal), with an overall placement of 4th place (ribbon).
