Karen J. Stuhlman, 88, of Jefferson City, MO, formerly of Palmyra, MO passed away at 9:55 PM, Friday, November 7, 2025, at Stone Bridge Senior Living Oak Tree in Jefferson City, MO.
Jefferson City Services: Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson City, MO. Pastor Sam Powell will officiate.
Friends and Family are invited to Karen’s visitation that will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the church.
Palmyra Services: Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra, MO. Pastor Sam Powell will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Palmyra, MO.

Karen was born August 17, 1937, in Hannibal, MO, to Curtis Lee Ravenscraft and Ilene Bell Ravenscraft. She was married to Herbert Lynn Stuhlman on August 11, 1957, in Palmyra, MO. He survives.
Other survivors include her children, Anne Stuhlman of Jefferson City, MO, Theodore Lynn (Tracey) Stuhlman of Summerville, SC, Lynda Kammeier of Jefferson City, MO, siblings, Marilyn Feaster of Lee’s Summit, MO, Robert “Bob” Ravenscraft of Palmyra, MO, Joni Fastnacht of Lee’s Summit, MO, grandchildren, Saura Stuhlman (Paul Sinclair), TJ (Katie) Stuhlman, Samantha Frohn, Robert Stuhlman, Emma Kammeier, 4 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, brother, David Ravenscraft, brothers-in law, Roger Feaster, Dennis Fastnacht, Ralph (Lennis) Stuhlman, and mother-in-law Erna Stuhlman.
With a keen eye for detail and a heart full of dedication, Karen built a meaningful career as a secretary, first serving the Superintendent in Louisiana, MO, and later at Community Christian Church in Jefferson City. In both roles, she was admired for her professionalism.
Karen’s greatest joy came from her family. As a devoted wife and mother, she nurtured a home filled with love, laughter, and unity. Her creativity shone through in her ceramics, sewing, and knitting—especially the cherished Christmas stockings she crafted with care.
Her legendary homemade pie crusts and love for hosting card parties brought people together, creating lasting memories. A passionate traveler, Karen explored the beauty of Switzerland, Connecticut, and Alaska, adding rich experiences to her life’s journey.
Music was her constant companion, with Elvis Gospel and Neil Diamond providing the soundtrack to many treasured moments. Karen’s life was a graceful blend of dedication, joy, and love. Her memory will forever be a beacon of warmth and inspiration to all who knew her.
