A traditional Memorial Day service, hosted by the American Legion and Auxiliary, will be held at Greenwood Cemetery Monday at 10 a.m.
The service will feature the traditional 21-gun salute, laying of the wreath, special music and the playing of taps.
There will also be a special message provided by Jason Janes, who served four years as a firefighter in the U.S. Airforce including one year in South Korea.
This year’s Poppy Girl, Olivia Pruett, will place the wreath.
Special music will be provided by the Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
