Craig Floyd

 

Craig Floyd, 32, of Columbia, Mo., passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at his home. 

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Zion Lutheran Church in Palmyra, Mo. Pastor Brian Thieme will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. 

Friends and family are invited to Craig’s Life Celebration at a visitation that will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, August 30, 2024, at the Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra. 

Craig was born November 7, 1991, to David Floyd and Janet Hoehne Floyd. 

Survivors include his Parents, Janet and Steve Lehenbauer of Palmyra, and David and Joyce Floyd of Monroe City, Mo.. Siblings, Caleb (Amanda Orrell) Floyd of Centralia, Mo., Jamie Floyd (Dustin) Rhoades of Auxvasse, Mo., Olivia Lehenbauer (Dylan) Chatfield of Philadelphia, Mo., and Justin Lehenbauer of Sioux Falls, SD. Grandparents, Henry and Mary Floyd of Palmyra. Partner, Amanda Willmeth. Nieces, Murphy Floyd, Alexis Rhoades, Evelyn Rhoades, and Wrenley Rhoades. Nephew, Baby Boy Chatfield, along with cousins, aunts, uncles, and countless friends and acquaintances. 

Craig was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Darrell and Reba Hoehne, Bertha Floyd, and Brother James Roy Floyd. 

Craig is a 2010 graduate of North Callaway High School where he was active in sports and FFA. He attended the University of Missouri before starting his career in the food and beverage industry in Columbia. 

Craig was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a staple in the Columbia, MO food and beverage industry and was well known by many for his skill and love for craft brewing and food service. Craig loved nothing more than good conversation, good company, and a good brew. He was a devoted uncle who loved his nieces unconditionally and was regularly in their lives to provide care and attend their events. Craig will be fondly remembered by his family and friends as a selfless person who loved with his whole heart and lived without reservations. 

Pallbearers will be Grant Powell, Dalton Schwanke, Carter Powell, Justin Lehenbauer, Jacob de Vries, George Crane, Tim Safranski, and Casper Safranski. 

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Craig Floyd Memorial Fund in care of Jamie Rhoades.
