Miss Hannibal Organization Engages in Community Service and Inspires Students During School Tour
HANNIBAL, MO — On Friday, March 21, the Miss Hannibal Organization dedicated an entire day to giving back to the community and engaging with local students. The titleholders — Miss Hannibal, Grace Isch; Miss Mark Twain, Kate Czarny; Miss River City, Shelby Leeker; Miss Hannibal’s Teen, Avery Trower; and Miss Mark Twain’s Teen, Maggie Bannester — demonstrated their commitment to service and leadership through a series of impactful activities.
The day began with a canned goods delivery donation to the Douglass Community Center in support of the March Madness Food Drive, helping to provide essential resources to local families in need.
Following the donation, the titleholders embarked on a school tour to inspire and educate students. Their first stop was at Palmyra Elementary School, where they visited the 4th-grade classrooms hosted by Mrs. Kathy Keim. The group then traveled to Ralls County Elementary School, where they read aloud a storybook to several classrooms and led meaningful discussions about the importance of kindness and respect.
The day concluded with a school-wide assembly at Monroe City Elementary, where the titleholders spoke about the value of kindness, empathy, and treating others with respect. The assembly was not only inspiring but also entertaining, as several of the titleholders showcased their talents:
Miss Hannibal, Grace Isch, and Miss Hannibal’s Teen, Avery Trower impressed the audience with their vocal performances. Miss Mark Twain’s Teen, Maggie Bannester captivated the crowd with her dazzling baton-twirling routine.
“We are so proud of the passion and enthusiasm these young women bring to their roles,” said Debbie Stratton, Executive Director of the Miss Hannibal Organization. “They not only inspire the next generation but also demonstrate the power of leadership, kindness, and community service.”
The Miss Hannibal Organization remains dedicated to empowering young women and fostering a spirit of service and excellence in the community.
