The 2025 Missouri 4-H shotgun team consisted of Tanner Stubinger and Ayden Shortridge of Marion County 4-H, Max Billings of Monroe County 4-H and Ethan Buttris of Pulaski County 4-H and was coached by James Walls.
The shotgun Event had teams from 28 states consisting of 115 kids. These kids competed in sporting clays, skeet and trap.
Team Missouri placed 11th in sporting clays, 15th in skeet and 7th in trap. With an overall placement of 12th.
Team member Ayden Shortridge got to walk the stage and received a ribbon for placing 7th in trap.
The 2025 national 4-H shooting sports competition celebrated its 25th year in Grand Island, NE with 740 kids from 40 states competing in 9 different disciplines. Missouri sent a team for all 9 disciplines and placed 2nd out of 9 states who also had all 9 disciplines.
