Mark Twain Casino and Guests Raist $3,503 for Northeast Missouri Humane Society

LA GRANGE, Mo. — July 10, 2026 – Mark Twain Casino is proud to present a $3,503 donation to the Northeast Missouri Humane Society, made possible through the generosity of casino guests and a recent charitable giving promotion.

During the promotion, guests made cash donations to support the Northeast Missouri Humane Society. As a thank-you for their generosity, Mark Twain Casino matched each donation with free slot play, giving guests the opportunity to support a great cause while enjoying their visit. Together, guest contributions raised $3,503, which will help provide food, shelter, medical care, and adoption services for animals in need.

The donation is part of an ongoing partnership between Mark Twain Casino and the Northeast Missouri Humane Society. Earlier this year, the organizations teamed up to host an on-site pet adoption event, connecting adoptable animals with loving families while raising awareness of the Humane Society’s mission.

“Supporting organizations that make a difference in our community is at the heart of what we do,” said Ryan Lounsbury, Vice President & General Manager of Mark Twain Casino. “We are grateful to our guests for their generosity and proud to partner with the Northeast Missouri Humane Society to help improve the lives of animals throughout our region.”

The Northeast Missouri Humane Society is dedicated to rescuing, caring for, and finding forever homes for homeless animals across northeast Missouri. Donations like these help provide essential care and give more animals the opportunity to find loving homes.

Mark Twain Casino is committed to giving back through charitable promotions, volunteer efforts, and partnerships with local nonprofit organizations, helping strengthen the communities it serves.
