Martha Jane Long of Nampa, Idaho passed away October 31, 2025 at home. Jane was born on January 23, 1933 in Emerson, Missouri to Lloyd and Martha Yarbrough. Jane was a graduate of Palmyra High School and graduated from Kirksville State Teachers College in three years. Jane was Palmyra high school basketball queen, Palmyra Fall Festival queen and Barnwarming queen at Kirksville. She enjoyed working with her dad’s black Angus cattle, and was also an excellent seamstress who could fashion a dress from a feed sack or make a fancy formal or a man’s three piece suit.
