The Panthers will return to the road Friday to play at Bowling Green, starting at 7 p.m.
The Bobcats come into the contest having lost their opener to Oak Grove, 47-19. But Panther Coach Kevin Miles said his team cannot take them for granted.
“Bowling Green will be a much more physical team that we will have to be ready for,” he said. “They will be strong and athletic, and if we are not prepared and ready to play they will put a knot on our head.”
It will be the final non-conference game of the regular season for the Panthers, who are scheduled host Macon Sept. 11 in the inaugural game of the new football stadium.
