Girls golfers take second at Mexico

The PHS girls golf team took second in a four team match at Mexico Thursday.

The Lady Panthers carded a 212 to finish behind only Southern Boone, 181, but ahead of Harrisburg, 229, and the host team, which did not complete a team score.

Malory Comstock led Palmyra with a 48, with Mallory Sublette shooting a 51, Maddie Jawad a 54 and Ella Goldinger, a 59.

This week, Palmyra was scheduled to play at home against Fulton, Tuesday, at Paris, Wednesday, and at Boonville, Friday.
