Five Panthers were named to the 2021 Class 3, District 7 All-District Baseball team.
After helping Palmyra win the district title, seniors Bennett Stice, Brody Lehenbauer and Wade Begley, and juniors Adam Goodwin and Nolyn Richards, made the all-district squad.
Stice went 7-1 on the season with a 0.64 earned run average. The right-hander struck out 113 in 54.2 innings pitched while walking 22 and giving up just 22 hits. He allowed only five earned runs all season.
He also batted .347 with two doubles and a triple.
Lehenbauer batted .385 and collected a team-high 18 walks, contributing to a .500 OBP.
He scored a team-high 36 runs, while hitting four doubles and stealing 10 bases while getting caught just once.
Begley batted .306 with 27 runs scored and 22 runs and 22 RBI while stealing 12 bases. He hit three home runs, one triple and three doubles.
Goodwin batted .278 with two doubles and a triple to go along with 11 RBI and 17 runs scored.
Richards belted a team-high four home runs to go along with a .344 batting average, 20 RBI and 13 runs scored.
