The Lady Panthers will open the season in now traditional fashion by competing in the 15th annual Troy Lead-Off Classic tournament Aug. 27-28.
Palmyra will open play at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27, against Fort Zumwalt South.
The winner will advance into the winners bracket and play at 6 p.m. Friday against the winner of Friday’s game between Fulton and Liberty.
Also competing in the tournament are Troy, Hannibal, Columbia Hickman, Bowling Green, Winfield, Highland, St. Dominic, Washington, Columbia Battle, Timberland and Warranton.
Palmyra has participated in the event since its inception.
