The Lady Mustangs advanced to the quarterfinals with a convincing 47-20 win over Linn County in sectionals at Salisbury last Tuesday.

Marion County held Linn County to single digit scoring in every period and had scored enough by halftime (25 points) to win the game.
The 20 points were the fewest given up during the season, tying the numbers scored by Novinger in a victory Jan. 7.
Linn County managed just seven field goals in the game.
Delaney Straus out-scored the opposition by herself, sinking 10 field goals and three of three free throws for 23 points.
Also contributing on offense were Riley Donath, six, Tristen Holt, five, Madison Stewart, five, Olivia Wood, three, Halle Keilholz, three and Riley Holt, two.
