Three members of the PHS boys wrestling team competed at the Liberty-Wentzville Invitational Tournament Saturday, and all three placed.

Jose Juarez took third place in the 215-pound division, while Travis Spicknall (126) took fifth and Luke Lawson (113) placed sixth.
Juarez won his third-place match by fall at 5:56 over Sullivan’s Jacob Patton.
He won his quarterfinal match by a 10-3 decision over St. Charles’ Thomas Palmer, but lost in the semifinals by fall at 3:07 to Holt’s Richard Meyer.
He also won matches by fall over Festus’ Jonathan Spink and Centralia’s Payton Mabrey.
Spicknall went 3-2, winning his fifth-place match by a 4-0 decision over St. Charles’ Charlie Reid.
Lawson went 2-3, losing his fifth place match by an 11-6 decision to Francis Howell Central’s Chaz Mitchell.
The Panthers also hosted a quad Thursday, but results were not made available.
