The PHS varsity girls basketball team completed the 2022 portion of the schedule with a 65-29 win at Louisiana last Tuesday.
After getting out to 11-5 edge, the Lady Panthers (8-2) went on a roll and out-scored Louisiana 45-18 in the second and third quarters to take control of the game.
Nine players contributed on offense including starters Clare Williams, Candra King and Taytum White who scored 13 each.
Also scoring were Sydney Compton, 10, Abbey Redd, seven, and Bella McBride, Alaina Loman and Jaelyn Chandler with two each.
The Lady Panthers begin the new year as the top seed at the Highland Tournament where they will open against Knox County, Monday.
