Palmyra R-1 School Board approved Dalton Hill as head football coach for the 2023-2024 school year last Thursday night at a special board meeting.

Hill had interviewed for the position originally and was hired instead as the head strength and conditioning coach at Palmyra R-I. 

Hill was offensive line coach and run-game coordinator last year at Mark Twain High School after finishing a stellar career as an offensive guard at Northwest Missouri State University. 

This will be his first year as a head coach.
