The PHS girls track and field team competed at its own Palmyra Open meet Thursday on the home facilities.
Lady Panthers placing in the top 10 were:
Candra King, first place in the shot put at 12.01 meters and second place in the discus at 34 meters;

Palmyra’s Laurin Sheputis carries the baton during the 4 x 800 meter relay at the Palmyra Open Thursday.
Abbey Redd, first place in the pole vault at 3.35 meters;
Tenlee Voss, second place in the 100 meter hurdles at 16.79; third place in the 300 meter hurdles at 49.88;
Laurin Sheputis, second place in the 800 meters at 2:35.42;
Alaina Loman, second place in the pole vault at 3.2 meters;
the second place 4 x 100 meter relay team at 52.81;
Chloe Hicks, second place in the high jump at 1.47 meters;
the third place 4 x 400 meter relay team at 4:27.00;
the fourth place 4 x 200 meter relay team at 1:53.39;
Taytum White, fourth place in the 200 meter dash at 27.86;
Bella McBride, eight place in the 100 meter dash at 13.57; eighth place in the 200 meter dash at 28.79;
the seventh place 4 x 800 meter relay team at 11:52.78;
Mallory Sublette, eighth place in the 1600 meters at 6:22.12; and
Janie Triplett, 10th place in the high jump at 1.37 meters.
