The PHS boys track and field team competed at their own Palmyra Open meet Thursday at the PHS facilities.
Panthers placing in the top 10 were:

Palmyra’s Ashton Lovegreen hands the baton to Connor Bross during the 4 x 800 meter relay.
Gideon Bogue, second place in the 100 meters at 11.46 and fourth place in the 200 meters at 23.54;
Carson Hicks, second place in the high jump at 1.87 meters;
Evan Pennewell, second place in the pole vault at 3.94 meters;
Carter Harper, third place in the 300 meter hurdles at 45.18 and seventh place in the long jump at 5.24 meters;
Luke Sheppard, fourth place in the high jump at 1.72 meters; fourth place in the 300 meter hurdles at 45.64 and fifth place in the 110 meter hurdles at 17.63;
Jose Juarez, fourth place in the shot put at 13.31 meters;
the seventh place 4 x 800 meter relay team at 10:05.99;
the eighth place 4 x 200 meter relay team at 1:41.24;
Daniel Dames, 10th place in the 400 meters at 57.80;
Connor Bross, 10th place in the 3200 meters at 11:32.00;
Ethan Redd, 10th place in the javelin at 34.35 meters; and
the 10th place 4 x 100 meter relay team at 49.52.
