Edward R. Cramer
Edward R. Cramer, 79, Palmyra, Mo., passed away at 11:55 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 6, 2023, at Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Palmyra.
He was born Aug. 1, 1944, the son of Ellery and Dorothea Drebenstedt Cramer. He married Carol Edwards on Nov. 26, 1993.

In addition to his wife, other survivors include his daughter, Jennifer (Ron) Burditt, Hunnewell, Mo.; his son-in-law, Nate (Wendy) Most, Gothenburg, Neb.; his step-daughter, Angela (Brian) Jones, Wellsville, N.Y., his step-son, Jason (Janelle) Edwards, Quincy, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Charlie Cramer, Quincy; and one sister, Cathy Phillips, Palmyra.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Amy Most; and grandson, Mitchell Most.
Ed was a 1962 graduate of Marion County R-II High School, a 1964 graduate of Hannibal-LaGrange College and a 1973 graduate of Northeast Missouri State University.
He was an accountant, working in the medical and banking businesses during his working career.
Ed was an active member of Madison Park Christian Church and enjoyed volunteering at the Palmyra Food Pantry and Maple Lawn
Nursing Home. He always enjoyed time with his family and catching up with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m to 1 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 10, at Madison Park Christian Church. Following the visitation, there will be a private family service.
