The PHS boys cross country team finished sixth in the Clarence Cannon Conference meet at Shelbina last Monday.
The Panthers scored 124 points to finish behind Centralia (22), South Shelby (69), Macon (83), Clark County (96) and Monroe City (124).
Jacob Barnes led the team with a 14th place finish out of 51 runners in a time of 20:28.51.
Also competing were: Carter Harper, 23rd place, 21:49.55; Wesley Summers, 25th place, 22:28.50; Ashton Lovegreen, 36th place, 26:24.54; Coby McCaskey, 41st place, 27:52.09; Walter Poor, 42nd place, 27:53.72; and Aiden Lynn, 47th place, 29:28.85.
Centralia’s Rohan Holiman won the individual championship in a time of 18:33.30.
In girls competition, Palmyra’s Brooklyn Platt finished 24th out of 33 runners in a time of 31:52.56.
Monroe City won the girls team competition.
Centralia’s Kenedee Moss won the individual title in a time of 22:50.53.
