Archie Boettcher

Archie Boettcher, age 95 formerly of Palmyra, MO. He was born in West Ely, Missouri to Erwin and Lorene (Lohenbauer) Boettcher. Archie grew up in a small farming community south of Palmyra, graduating from Palmyra High School in 1948. He enjoyed farming, golf, meeting and talking to people, storytelling, driving his semi-truck, motorcycle and travelling in his motorhome. He spent many years in Florida before moving to Michigan. 

Archie married Joanne Mester of Quincy, Illinois, who preceded him in death. 

Survived by his soulmate Neoma Robinson of Milan, son, Greg Boettcher of Cameron, Missouri, daughter, Julie (Doug) Childs of Clearwater, Florida, grandchildren: Dr. Sean (Lindsey) Childs and Katrina (Bill) Guthrie and a brother, James E. Boettcher. 

Besides his wife, Joanne, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lester. 

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm. Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Greenwood Cemetery, Palmyra, Missouri.
