South Shelby and Bowling Green breezed through the semifinals Friday to meet up this Friday in the Class 2, District 7 championship game to be played at 7 p.m. at Shelbina.
Top-seeded South Shelby beat fourth-seeded Clark County, 43-6, while second-seeded Bowling handled Monroe City, 51-6.
Both South Shelby and Bowling Green are undefeated going into this Friday’s game.
The winner will advance to sectionals and take on the winner of Friday’s District 8 title game between top-seeded East Buchanan and third-seeded Mid-Buchanan.
South Shelby is the last Clarence Cannon Conference team still alive in the playoffs.
Centralia lost to Moberly, 41-28, in the Class 3, District 4 semifinals, while Brookfield lost to East Buchanan, 66-14, in the Class 2, District 8 semifinals.
