The PHS boys and girls cross country teams competed in the Marion County Invitational meet Oct. 9.
The boys team finished third out of three teams behind first-place Mark Twain and second-place Marion County, while the girls did not qualify a team score.
Dakota Snyder lead the Panthers with a sixth-place finish in a time of 19:04.
Also competing were Connor Bross, ninth place, 19:38; Caleb Juette, 14th place, 20:51; Ji Young, 20th place, 21:35; Talon Markley, 21:38; Jackson Janes, 28th, 26:41 and Owen Mason Kiefaber, 30th, 29:41.
South Shelby’s Noah Wilt led all runners with a time of 17:42.
Aly Noland led the girls with an eighth place finish in a time of 24:31.
Also competing were Lydia Gard, 18th place, 28:07; and Izzy Rice, 19th place, 28:36.
Marion County’s Delaney Strauss won the girls competition with a time of 21:31.
