Two senior Palmyra Panthers were named to the Class 2 All-State football team as chosen by the Missouri High School Football Coaches Association.
Landyn Smith was honored as a second-team defensive back, while Luke Triplett, was named as a third-team offensive lineman.
Other area Class 2 all-staters included: Marcus Sparks, a first team junior running back from Bowling Green; Devin Rue, a second team junior offensive lineman from Bowling Green; Charlie Bowen, a second team senior linebacker from Bowling Green; Beau Gordon, a second team senior linebacker from Centralia; Trent Polley, a third team senior linebacker from Brookfield; and Collin Huziker, a third-team sophomore punter from Clark County.
