Workers put up a new 80-foot flag pole — one of the tallest in the area — in Palmyra’s Greenwood Cemetery last Tuesday. The pole is topped by an eagle and flies a flag measuring 25 feet in length. Gerre Feigenspan, the cemetery’s superintendent said the pole is being paid for through donations.
